Dr. Taddesse is a Statistician with a proven record in research and statistical consultancy. His experience spans delivering trainings, proposal writing, project evaluation and reviewing scientific articles, and he works with a wide range of software, including CSPro, Power BI, SPSS, SAS, R and LaTeX. Over years of practice, he has built strong skills in handling complex statistical problems.
His particular interest is nonparametric statistics. In his doctoral research he developed a rank-based test statistic for directional alternatives in multivariate settings with two or more samples, a robust approach with practical applications in fields such as health and psychology.
He currently serves as Chair of the Department of Statistics at Addis Ababa University. Previously, he served as president of the Ethiopian Statistical Association.
