Monitoring & Evaluation
We help you measure progress, understand why results look the way they do, triangulate with other sources and decide what to change.
01 / Scope
What it covers
- Theories of change, results frameworks and logframes
- Indicator definition and monitoring and evaluation plans
- Baseline, midline and endline surveys
- Performance, process and outcome evaluations
- Data quality assessments of routine monitoring systems
- Learning reviews and lessons-learned studies
02 / Method
How we do it
We start from your programme's theory of change and the decisions your stakeholders need to make. From there we set indicators that can actually be measured, with clear definitions, data sources and targets.
For evaluations, we choose a design that matches the question and the budget, and we are open about what it can and cannot show. Baselines and endlines use the same instruments and sampling, so that change is measured, not assumed.
We report findings independently. Where results fall short, we say so, and we explain why.
03 / Deliverables
What you receive
- A results framework and monitoring and evaluation plan with indicator reference sheets
- Baseline, midline or endline reports with comparable indicator values
- Evaluation reports that answer the agreed evaluation questions
- Clean datasets, codebooks and analysis files, so results can be checked and repeated
- A findings workshop with practical recommendations
